• Counselling

I provide counselling to children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing a wide array of difficulties. As a Psychologist I have supported young people and families struggling with: addiction (drugs, alcohol, gaming), stress, anxiety, depression, family conflict, learning difficulties, attention issues, and trauma .

  • Approach

My practice is based on a number of evidence-based approaches and years of providing quality therapy to young people and families. Because I believe counselling doesn't happen to you, it happens with you, I regularly seek feedback to ensure we are on a path that will help you reach your goals. Specific approaches I use include:

    Solution Focused Therapy

    Motivational Interviewing

    Acceptance Commitment Therapy

    Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

    Strategic Family Therapy

I also have an extensive background using activities and experiential exercises in therapy. This can be a very effective approach for people who tend to learn better by doing, as well as those who may have a difficult time remaining seated for 50min!

  • Athletes

The relationship between happiness and performance is clear; those who are happy perform better and experience greater success. My approach when working with athletes is a unique blend of mindfulness, mental toughness and wellbeing. Helping athletes manage competitive situations is important. Helping athletes manage their overall mental health and wellbeing is critical.
